Mr. Inder Walia joined Bharti Enterprises Ltd in August 2007 as Group Director, Human Resources. He is also a member of the Bharti Management Board.

Prior to joining Bharti Enterprises, he was the Executive Vice President, Human Resources and a member of the Group Management Committee of Arcelor Mittal for over 8 years, where he was responsible for Group-wide HR and post-merger integration. During this time, he was based both in London and Luxembourg. Mr. Walia played a significant role in due diligence, transition management and successful post-merger integration of several acquisitions done in North America, South America, Africa, Western & Eastern Europe and Central and South Asia.

He has effectively implemented business strategies with special emphasis on business HR practices across diverse cultures globally.

Mr. Walia is an Economics and Accounting graduate with Post Graduate Degree in Human Resources from TISS, Mumbai.
