Ms. Leena Sahijwani has 15 years of experience spanning wide range of roles involving Change Management, Organization Design, Talent development, Engagement and Rewards in organizations like Glaxo Smithkline Consumer Healthcare, Hewitt Associates, Accenture and GE.
In her current role as Director- Compensation & Benefits at GE she is responsible for Rewards for GE in India. In her current role she has been instrumental in simplifying & harmonizing compensation and benefits platform across all GE business entities in India. She has also created a Total Rewards agenda for GE and create contemporary and relevant Total Rewards value proposition. As part of this strategy, she has designed and launched contemporary variable pay programs for functions across multiple GE India P&L businesses as well as Flexible Benefits program providing choices to employees for key wellness related benefits.
Ms. Sahijwani joined GE in 2005 as the HR leader for engineering teams of Energy & Aviation businesses based out of Bangalore. She started her career with Glaxo SmithKline Consumer Healthcare (GSK) and worked on assignments in HR and Sales. She joined Hewitt Associates and consulted in the area of C&B and Job Evaluation for clients spanning varied industries like Consumer, IT and ITES industries. After working for two and a half years with Hewitt, she joined Accenture to lead their Compensation & Benefits function for ITES business.
She has an MBA degree in Human Resources from Symbiosis Institute of Management, Pune and Bachelors degree in Economics from Lady Shri Ram College, New Delhi.
