Who we look for
Our Launch graduate program participants will have a relevant degree with evidence of strong academic performance (a credit average or above) and permanent working rights in Australia. Those successful in securing places on the program also demonstrate leadership qualities, experience in work and extra-curricular activities.
Leadership
Your experience in sport, clubs, community groups, student organisations and other areas of life will show us you’re not afraid to take the initiative and take a leading role.
Extracurricular activities
We’re looking for real people, who a well-rounded individuals and who understand the world our clients live in. Share your experience of the world with us and how you get involved e.g. volunteering, sports, clubs, etc.
Work experience
We’re looking for those transferable skills like interpersonal skills, customer service and working as part of a team which you have learnt from working, even if it was in a supermarket or fast food chain.
Eligibility
You must be a permanent resident or an Australian citizen who has completed their degree by the end of 2018.

Recruitment process & tips
Our program structure
The Aon graduate program – Launch, is a 2 year development initiative for graduates in Australia. It targets future leaders and technical specialists able to contribute to the success of our business. What can you expect on Launch:
4 rotations
Participants in the Aon Launch graduate program undertake four six-month rotations. Rotations are driven by business need and the desire to ensure our graduates are exposed to the learning opportunities required to be successful in their career at Aon.
The rotations span across multiple areas within Reinsurance Solutions, Retirement Solutions, and Commercial Risk.
Launch Development Activities
There are a number of structured, on-the-job and professional development activities relevant to the development stream.
This starts with a tailored Induction program. During rotation one regular development sessions are held to help you build foundational knowledge about our business.
The second rotation includes working as a project team to tackle a real life business challenge. To prepare you for this you’ll learn about innovation and project management.
Throughout your final rotations, you’ll participate in alumni activities and self-directed learning.
Permanent Landing Role
On successful completion of the program, you will commence a permanent landing role in your relevant development stream – actuarial & analytics, risk or human capital consulting.
Professional Development Opportunities
Where relevant to your development stream, we provide on the job learning to support you to gain industry recognised professional qualifications.
Technical Training
Where relevant to your development stream, we provide technical training such as survey design, product knowledge, systems usage and any other technical components required to complete the rotation successfully.
