Purpose and basis for processing
Aon conducts video surveillance at our office at Århusgade 118, 2150 Nordhavn. Aon processes these recordings as data
controller.
Video surveillance is conducted at the entrances to Aon's 2nd floor offices, the copy room and the two locked server rooms.
Video surveillance is conducted for security and crime prevention purposes, especially theft and IT security
Aon conducts this video surveillance on the basis of Aon's legitimate interest (cf. GDPR Article 6(1)(f)) in being able to
manage daily operation and security of the property, Aon's employees, and its equipment.
Storage and disclosure
Video recordings are deleted after 30 days. Under certain circumstances and in connection with a specific case, data may
be stored for a longer period.
The recordings are only accessible to a few selected employees who only review the recordings in the event of a justified
request that a review may be necessary or in case of verification of the surveillance equipment. Some of these employees
are affiliated with Aon's UK office, which the EU Commission has approved as a safe third country.
Further, the recordings will only be disclosed to the police and only in connection with the prevention, investigation,
detection or prosecution of criminal offenses or the execution of criminal sanctions, including protection against and
prevention of threats against employees.
Your rights
You have the right to receive information about the processing of your personal data and a copy of the personal data we
process about you.
However, the right to obtain a copy may be restricted for the protection of other persons' privacy, trade secrets, intellectual
property rights, and for the prevention, investigation, detection or prosecution of criminal offenses or the execution of
criminal penalties, including the protection against and prevention of threats against employees.
You also have the right to object to our processing of your personal data and request that it be erased or the processing
restricted.
If your request is justified, we will correct, delete, or restrict the processing of your personal data accordingly. We reserve
the right to require you to confirm your identity before we respond to your request.
You also have the right to complain to the Danish Data Protection Agency about Aon's processing of your personal information. The complaint must be submitted to the Danish Data Protection Agency, Carl Jacobsens Vej 35, 2500 Valby, tel.: 3319 3200, e-mail: [email protected].
