HHS Publishes Fact Sheet on Telehealth Flexibilities and Resources and the COVID-19 PHE
On May 10, 2023, the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) released a Fact Sheet on Telehealth Flexibilities and Resources and the COVID-19 Public Health Emergency (PHE). Among other topics, the document addresses:
- Medicare and telehealth;
- Medicaid, CHIP, and telehealth;
- Private health insurance and telehealth;
- HIPAA rules and COVID-19; and
- Tele-Behavioral health and the COVID-19 PHE.
