The pooling terms vary according to the size of the whole group covered but only members residing in Quebec are subject to pooling.

As of this year, according to the Terms and Conditions of Pooling for 2020, groups of 4,000 to 5,999 members are pooling claims as of $300,000 per certificate. This constitutes the introduction of a new level since in 2019 no QDIPC pooling was applicable from 4,000 employees. The impact of this change for the groups now targeted may need to be analyzed based on the characteristics of each plan.
