Animesh Kumar is the Group Head - Human Resources and Corporate Services at IDFC. In this role he is responsible for managing organizational transformation and internal service delivery, ensuring that not only is IDFC a preferred employer but that is also able to leverage human capital more effectively in delivering IDFC's mission of nation building. In addition, is also responsible for anchoring the brand and communications agenda for the group.

Animesh has two decades of extensive experience in the field of Human Resources in Banking and FMCG sectors. He has successfully led organizational interventions in managing change, building an organizational culture, organizational development and effectiveness and in building high performance organizations. He has also worked extensively in managing post acquisition integration and brings a deep insight on how to effectively leverage human capital in acquisition plays. Prior to joining IDFC, Animesh was a part of the HR leadership team in ABN AMRO/Royal Bank of Scotland (RBS) Group. In his previous experience, he has held positions with Marico Industries, Thomas Cook (India), YES Bank and Standard Chartered Bank (SCB).

Animesh holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Human Resources from XLRI, Jamshedpur, India and is an Economics graduate from Shri Ram College of Commerce, Delhi.
