Responsibilities Sophie is Managing Director of AIM (Luxembourg) since 01st of September 2021. She holds a personal license as “dirigeant agréé” with the Commissariat Aux Assurances, holds several director’s mandates and Solvency II Key Functions. After working in the accounting and tax department, she headed the development and consulting team, with responsibility for feasibility studies, implantation of new captives, change in business plans and other special projects. Experience Sophie started in the captive management in 1993, gaining experience in all aspects of the business, she became head of the Development and Consulting team, in charge of feasibility studies on several domiciles. She has outstanding knowledge in reinsurance and program structuring, P&C business as well as Employee Benefits, captive set ups and the regulatory environment and is member of several Underwriting Committees. She has also contributed to many captive transactions, such as captive sales. Sophie joined Aon Insurance Managers (Luxembourg) S.A. in November 2007 as Business Development Manager and became managing Director in September 2021. Cettina graduated with honours from the University of Messina in 1993 with a degree in Political Sciences, partially completing her degree at the Universities of Angers in France and Newcastle Upon Tyne in the United Kingdom. On graduating as a chartered accountant Cettina commenced her career with a firm of tax consultants. In 2002 she joined AIM as an account manager and is now responsible for the management of our Italian client portfolio and the development of the Italian market.
During his four years in practice, he obtained extensive experience within the finance sector of captive insurance, banking and investment funds. Denis joined Aon Insurance Managers (Luxembourg) in 1996 and is responsible for the financial and treasury services.
Jörg started his insurance career with Victoria Versicherungs AG in 1991 passing the insurance examination as “Versicherungskaufmann (IHK)” in 1994. He graduated from the Fachhochschule Ludwigshafen am Rhein, Germany in 2000 with a degree in business administration as Diplom Betriebswirt (FH) specialist in finance, banking and insurance. Jörg worked for five years as an external auditor with Ernst & Young Luxembourg, responsible for investment funds and insurance companies, leaving the company as Assistant Manager.. Jörg started his carrier with AIM Luxembourg as Account Manager in 2005. In 2010 he has been appointed as Client Operations Manager and is an expert for Solvency II pillar 2.
After completing a business studies diploma at Manchester Metropolitan University, Clare worked at the Life head office of Guardian Assurance in England and joined Sinser (today part of Aon) in 1987. Clare is an Associate of the Chartered Insurance Institute and a Chartered Insurance Practitioner. Clare has gained extensive experience of managing Nordic owned captives and heads our management team # 1.
Isabelle holds a degree from the Institut Européen d’Etudes Commerciales at Strasbourg and specialised in finance and accounting at Fakultät für Betriebswirtschaftslehre at Mannheim. After working for two years in internal audit and general accounting for a French company, Isabelle joined Sinser (today part of Aon) as account manager in 1994. Isabelle heads our management team # 2.
Hervé is a graduate from l’Institut d’Administration des Entreprises de Bordeaux where he obtained a degree in Finance and Accounting. He also has a B.A. in Finance and Accounting from Manchester Metropolitan University. He started his career in 1997 when he joined Sinser (now integrated in the AON group), working with Captive Management. Since June 2005, Hervé heads our management team # 3.
