LONDON (6 February 2020) – Aon plc, the leading global professional services firm providing a broad range of risk, retirement and health solutions, today announces it has made seven senior appointments to its EMEA M&A and Transaction Solutions practice in the past quarter, including:
- Adrian Lamasz as Head of Regional M&A and Mid-Market, UK
- Andrea Foti has joined as Aon’s new Head of M&A, Southern Europe
- Benoit Geurts as Managing Director & Head of M&A, EMEA, Aon Intellectual Property Solutions
- Lars Forsstedt as Co-Head of Transaction Solutions, Nordics
- Lisa Dybeck as Co-Head of Transaction Solutions, Nordics
- Matthias Luettges as Head of M&A and Transaction Solutions, Germany
- Ulf Cramer as Head of M&A and Transaction Solutions, DACH

Adrian Lamasz has been appointed to the role of Head of Regional M&A and Mid-Market UK to lead mid-market Private Equity and Corporate M&A across the UK regional market. He will report to Alistair Lester. Adrian joins from Marsh JLT where he served as UK Midlands Practice Leader.
Andrea Foti has joined as Aon’s new Head of M&A Southern Europe. He will report to Alistair Lester and will work closely with Aon’s M&A leader in Italy, Vincenzo Aliotta and Aon’s M&A leader in Spain and Portugal, Lucas Lopez Vazquez. He joins from EY’s Corporate Finance team in Milan.
Benoit Geurts has been appointed Managing Director, EMEA, Aon Intellectual Property Solutions. Geurts will lead M&A interactions for Intellectual Property Solutions across the EMEA region and will also be responsible for Northern Europe/ Nordics. He will report to Christian Gordon-Pullar, Head of Intellectual Property Solutions in EMEA and Alistair Lester. Benoit brings 20 years of experience to the team; prior to joining Aon, Benoit was a Managing Consultant at PA Consulting in the Global Innovation and Technology Centre in Cambridge, where he led its intellectual property strategy services and contributed to the development of its 5G service offering.
Lars Forsstedt has been appointed Co-Head of Aon’s Transaction Solutions team in the Nordics. He joins from Willis Towers Watson where he held a position as Practice Leader, Private Equity. Lars will lead Aon’s Nordic Transaction Solutions team in collaboration with Lisa Dybeck.
Lisa Dybeck has joined as Co-Head of Aon’s Transaction Solutions team in the Nordics. She joins from Marsh JLT Specialty where she held a position as Vice President within the Private Equity and M&A practice. Lisa will lead Aon’s Nordic Transaction Solutions team in collaboration with Lars Forsstedt.
Matthias Luettges has been appointed as Head of M&A and Transaction Solutions, Germany. He joins Aon from Marsh Private Equity & Mergers and Acquisitions where he was Head of Transactional Risk, Germany. Matthias will report to Ulf Cramer and will work closely with the Aon Germany leadership team.
Ulf Cramer has been appointed to Head of M&A and Transaction Solutions DACH and will report to Alistair Lester. Ulf joins from AIG Trade Finance where he headed up the business’s Northern Europe division.
