Housing Industry Association Insurance Services announces new CEO
Sydney, 30 November 2016 - Housing Industry Association Insurance Services (HIAIS), Aon's joint venture with the Housing Industry Association (HIA), has today announced the appointment of Tim Olive as its new Chief Executive Officer, effective 30 January 2017.
Tim joins HIAIS having held various senior leadership positions at the Housing Industry Association (HIA), including as Board Director of HIAIS since 2008. He is at present the Chief Executive for Business Solutions at HIA and for many years has been influential in leading the growth and innovation strategies for the organisation.
Lambros Lambrou, Chief Executive Officer of Aon Risk Solutions Australia, said Tim is a natural fit for the business.
"Tim's expertise in the residential construction industry and in-depth understanding of the HIA business is second to none and will be valuable as he leads HIAIS to future growth and success.

As CEO, Tim will drive and implement the HIAIS growth strategy. He will be based at Aon's Canberra office.
David Turner, HIAIS' CEO for the past nine years, will remain Chairman of the organisation.
