Aon Insights Series Pacific Celebrates its Twentieth Year
SYDNEY, 11 Oct. 2024 - Aon plc (NYSE: AON), a leading global professional services firm, today announced it will host the Aon Insights Series Pacific 2024 between 16-17 October. Now in its twentieth year, the annual Aon Insights Series will be held in Melbourne and will explore the theme of, ‘Clarity and confidence to act now.’
Aon subject matter experts from Australia and overseas including Eric Andersen, president; Lambros Lambrou, CEO of Human Capital; Lori Goltermann, CEO of regions and enterprise clients; and Anne Corona, CEO of Asia Pacific will be joined by speakers and senior leaders from organisations such as Veolia, Toyota Finance and Mirvac.
The two-day program will address current and emerging challenges such as the local and global economic climate, human capital risk, geopolitical risk, climate change, supply chain and cyber security, along with an economic update by Emeritus Professor Ian Harper, AO.
Jennifer Richards, CEO of Australia for Aon, will officially open the event alongside returning event host Jason Disborough, enterprise client growth leader of Asia Pacific for Aon.
“Businesses in Australia and New Zealand are facing new forms of volatility while simultaneously facing constant pressure to make complex business decisions at speed. Currently, the economy is grappling with inflationary pressures, supply chain disruptions and a tight labour market, which are affecting business operations and profitability,” said Richards. “Our Insights Series provides an exchange of new strategies and case studies from the region to help leaders be better informed and better advised. The Aon Insights Series satellite events will take place in Seoul, Hong Kong and Tokyo in October and November, followed by Mumbai in December. The Aon Insights Series event in Singapore took place in early October.
