Amit Tandon is the Founder and Managing Director of Institutional Investor Advisory Services India Limited (IiAS). IiAS is an advisory firm dedicated to providing participants in the Indian market with independent opinion, research and data on corporate governance issues, and voting recommendations on shareholder resolutions. Prior to founding IiAS, he was the Managing Director and CEO of Fitch Ratings: India between Oct 2001 and June 2011. Amit’s responsibilities at Fitch Ratings also included the oversight of Fitch Ratings’ Sri Lankan operations. Before joining Fitch, Amit was with the ICICI group, one of India’s largest financial services conglomerates, for 17 years.
