Risk Finance

Risk Financing (RF) is a process to determine the strategy achieving the optimal balance between retaining and transferring risk within an organisation.  It also addresses the financial management of retained risk. We also advise on regulatory, solvency and governance procedures for both a corporate and (re)insurance client base. Our Solution types include programme optimisation analysis, captive insurance companies, cell companies (PCCs and ICCs) and alternative risk transfer.

Aon Global Risk Consulting’s team is amongst the deepest and most experienced in the market. Our broad skill set includes personnel from insurance, actuarial, finance and accounting disciplines, enabling us to provide the full range of advice necessary to deliver complex financial arrangements from identification, through to development, testing, transaction and ongoing management.

Our process is not prescriptive, rather it is tailored to bespoke client situations. Our consultants work with our clients to identify its precise objectives, requirements and constraints. We then develop client specific models to analyse and assess the issues as appropriate and combine this with objective commentary gained from our consultants’ unrivalled experience in the industry.
