Whistleblowing Policy

At Aon, colleagues should feel safe to speak up about things that aren’t right, including suspected or potential concerns of wrongdoing, malpractice, or misconduct. Aon is dedicated to fostering a workplace culture that upholds the highest ethical standards in all its processes, procedures, and in accordance with all applicable European and national legislation, including the Law no. 361/2022 on the protection of whistleblowers in the public interest (the ”Whistleblowing Law”) and the Directive (EU) 2019/1937 on the protection of persons who report breaches of Union law (the ”Whistleblowing Directive”).

Aon Romania has put in place a whistleblowing policy and supporting frameworks which are designed to encourage colleagues (including all contractors, volunteers or unpaid trainees, vendors, third parties and job applicants, independent contractors, shareholders and management members) to report suspected wrongdoing as soon as possible, in the knowledge that their concerns will be taken seriously, Aon’s will ensure that it investigates allegations of improper conduct thoroughly, and that their confidentiality will be observed, according to the applicable legal provisions.
