Purpose and basis for processing
Aon conducts video surveillance at our office at Valhallavägen 117H, 115 31 Stockholm. Aon processes these recordings as data controller.

Video surveillance is conducted at all entrances, lifts, stairwells and the reception area for security and crime prevention purposes, especially theft and IT security.

Aon conducts this video surveillance on the basis of Aon's legitimate interest (cf. GDPR Article 6(1)(f)) in being able to manage daily operation and security of the property, Aon's employees, and its equipment.

Storage and disclosure
Video recordings are deleted after 20 days. Under certain circumstances and in connection with a specific case, data may be stored for a longer period.

The recordings are only accessible to a few selected employees who only review the recordings in the event of a justified request that a review may be necessary or in case of verification of the surveillance equipment. Some of these employees are affiliated with Aon's UK office, which the EU Commission has approved as a safe third country.

Further, the recordings will only be disclosed to the police and only in connection with the prevention, investigation, detection or prosecution of criminal offenses or the execution of criminal sanctions, including protection against and prevention of threats against employees.
