If the artists would like to sell their work we are delighted to offer these pieces via auction. Online bids can be submitted once the auction opens in April 2021.
We hope to be hosting a live auction event in May 2021 in London where we will be presenting our annual awards.
All works have a guide price which has been set by the artist who will receive the full value of the successful bid and any unsold work will be returned to the artist.
Since our first auction in 2015, our artists have received over £65,000 from the sale of their work.
At the last auction, 88% of our artists sold at least one piece of art in either the live or online auctions. James McDowell, Head of Fine Art at Aon conducted the live auction to a room full of clients, contacts, Aon colleagues as well as our artists.
James said:
‘The Aon Community Art Award is a fantastic way for Aon to show its support for recently graduated artist from Glasgow, Leeds and Manchester Art Colleges. For the artists, the Award offers more than the financial reward of the annual auction but crucial business support at a pivotal point in their careers. Personally, the Award is a great opportunity for Aon to demonstrate to our clients and the wider art community our support for the art market and underline our fine art credentials’
