Challenging Diversity Part II - Own Your Potential

Wednesday 24th October 2018 | The Aon, Centre, 122 Leadenhall Street, London

BAME women are the most underrepresented group in the workplace. Limited career progression, lack of female leadership as well as general discrimination and bias are just a few of the contributing factors. In recent years there has been a growing push for legislators and senior leaders to improve gender diversity and gender pay.

Recent figures from the Guardian revealed that ITN employees from a BAME background earn 20.8% lower than their white peers. Although, these figures demonstrate how pervasive inequality is, there is a need to be more focused on ways in which BAME women can own their potential and shape their careers?

If you are keen to understand the experiences of BAME and International individuals and would like to contribute to building a more inclusive workplace, then join us!

The event will feature candid conversations set in three parts:

  • Keynote speech from Ronke Lawal PR Consultant and founder of Ariatu PR
  • Interactive break-out discussions where your stories, questions and ideas can be heard
