Step Up Traineeship Scheme 2019

Aon established the UK insurance industry’s first traineeship scheme in 2018. We recently wrapped up our second Step Up Traineeship where eight people aged 21-29, who were no longer part of the education system, employment or training were selected to be part of the six-week programme in our Manchester office. This involved classroom training and work experience, working to complete formal qualifications and gain experience in an office environment. At the end of the programme, Aon was able to offer five trainees full-time roles within the Manchester office. Hear from the trainees about their experience.
