Aon Raises over SGD 150,000 for Children’s Cancer Foundation in Singapore Through Fundraising Event
SINGAPORE (11 July 2023) – Aon plc (NYSE: AON), a leading global professional services firm, today announced it has raised over SGD 150,000 for the Children’s Cancer Foundation (CCF) in Singapore through the Aon Jeju 2023 Challenge.
The Aon Jeju 2023 Challenge was a two-day endurance event that took place in South Korea from May 15–16. Over 30 Aon and (re)insurance industry colleagues traversed across coastal trails of mixed terrain to summit Mount Hallasan – the highest point in South Korea – during the two-day event. The team collectively raised over SGD 150,000 through personal fundraising and corporate donations leading up to the event.
“At Aon, we exist to protect and enrich the lives of those in our community. Through the Jeju Challenge, we are thrilled to give back to the community and raise funds for CCF to help improve the quality of life for children and families impacted by childhood cancer,” said George Attard, chief executive officer, Reinsurance Solutions, Asia Pacific, Aon.
CCF is a social service agency in Singapore with a mission to improve the quality of life for children with cancer along with their families, through enhancing their emotional, social and medical wellbeing. To date, CCF has helped more than 3,700 children and their families at different stages of illness and recovery.
