Such negligent acts may encompass misdiagnosis and improper treatment, aftercare or health management of a patient.

- What is the most common reason for malpractice?
The most common reason for medical malpractice lawsuits is the failure of a healthcare professional to correctly diagnose a patient’s medical condition. Patients can sue healthcare workers when experiences of ill-treatment occur, or when there are feelings that concern for their welfare is not genuine.
- What happens when a doctor or clinic is accused of malpractice in violating medical ethics?
If a practice does not act promptly to hold a doctor accountable for ethical violation, they may face severe repercussions resulting in extensively damaging lawsuits. Malpractice claims can be substantial financial losses for a Doctor and/or the medical practice where they are employed.
