With over 39 years of experience in insurance industry, Ernest started his career from 1986 with AIU and joined Alexander & Alexander in 1991 which is now Aon and to start his history with Aon family for more than 33 years. Ernest was appointed as CEO for Aon Hong Kong on 10 Oct 2024. Prior to the role of CEO Hong Kong, Ernest was the Chief Commercial Officer of Aon Greater China, CEO for Aon Taiwan from 2016 to 2023, Chief Broking Officer for Aon China from 2011 to 2015, Head of Northern China of Aon China from 2008 to 2010, Director and Head of Energy & Construction of Greater China from 2006 to 2008.
With these working experience in China, Hong Kong and Taiwan enables him effectively mobilizing all resources across the three markets and this creates Aon a unique advantage in servicing its clients.
Ernest is an associate member of the Australian Insurance Institute and holds a Master Degree majoring in Marketing Management (Macquarie University of Australia).
