Aon Singapore hosted a packed SG50 event on the 55th floor of the ION Orchard building at the Salt Grill and Sky Bar to mark Singapore’s independence and outstanding success as a nation.

Aon Singapore CEO, Geoff Lambrou paid tribute to Singapore and spoke of the nation’s embracing of Innovation and how as a country it is looking forward to the next 50 years. Stephen Cross, Aon Risk Solutions Global Chief Innovation Officer spoke of some astonishing future trends which will have a direct impact on Singapore and present both opportunities and risks – including socio economic, reputational and cyber threats. Innovation being a key initiative for Aon on a global level, Stephen also presented XL Catlin with the Inaugural Insurer Innovation Award for their creation of the Crisis & Media Management product.

Close to 200 guests and Aon colleagues enjoyed cocktails and canapés while taking in the view of the Singapore skyline and toasting Singapore many happy and prosperous years ahead!
