We organised a seminar titled Corporate Insurance for Japanese Businesses at the Robertson Quay rooms in the SGX building for our pool of Japanese guests.
We were happy to enjoy an encouraging turnout from Japanese companies operating in Singapore with Seishiro Kawamoto, Head of Japanese Business, Aon Risk Solutions, giving a warm welcome to our guests. Katsuhiro Ogino, Associate Director, Sales & Marketing, provided a comprehensive overview of the insurance and risk management landscape unique to Singapore.
Meanwhile Kentaro Toki, Associate Director, Japanese Business, Trade Credit, Asia, gave a good close to the session with a good presentation on how Trade Credit Insurance can help manage risks for businesses. Corporate entities came from all lines of businesses from construction, logistics and the F&B.
Close to 70 percent of our guests reported that they were either satisfied or very satisfied with this seminar. Almost one third of the guests in attendance have approached us for a second meet-up at the close of this session.
Here are some of the feedbacks from our guests:
“It would be very much appreciated if Aon can conduct these seminars regularly,” shared a guest from the logistics sector.
Another guest has shared that he can fully understand the role of the insurance broker in risk management thanks to this seminar.
Katsuhiro shared that he is happy to share our spread of services and our expertise in risk management with the wider Japanese community.
He added, “I am happy that we have worked as a team to help Japanese companies feel more at home in Singapore so as to thrive, flourish and contribute to the economy.”
