Aon Singapore and Atradius hosted Trade Credit Seminar for Japanese Businesses - 29 September 2016
On 29 September 2016, the ARS (Japan Desk) and Atradius hosted a seminar to help Japanese businesses operating in Singapore compete and thrive in the increasingly challenging economic environment.
The session was aimed at introducing strategies aimed at coping with non-payments as well as the usage of Trade Credit Insurance to achieve, or even exceed, companies’ growth targets.
Helen Clark, Head of Aon Trade Credit - Asia, Aon Risk Solution, welcomed our guests while also providing a brief outline of the economic outlook for the Asia markets.
We were also pleased to invite speakers from Atradius sharing about the benefits of using corporate payment collection services over litigation. They also shared case-studies, while dispelling misconceptions of payment collection and remedial services.
Kentaro Toki and Katsuhiro Ogino from Aon Risk Solutions presented on Trade Credit Insurance and how it can be a useful tool for companies looking for more credit management strategies.
“I fully understand now how trade credit insurance can help our credit risk management,” shared a guest. Many guests have also shared that they benefited from learning about how Trade Credit Insurance can help in the management of trade finance.
