Manager Selection

A team of over 68 specialists covers both the traditional and the alternative investment categories. Aon Hewitt’s analyses and manager ratings are recorded in its own asset manager database containing over 4,000 asset managers with in-depth analyses of more than 11,000 investment products. This enables us to identify the managers with the best potential to outperform their benchmarks. We keep track records documenting the quality of our selections in each individual investment category.

Moreover, we attach great importance to the qualitative aspects of the investment team, process and philosophy, which are regularly monitored on-site in accordance with due diligence criteria.

Managers are individually selected taking into account the client’s needs. Asset managers are asked to answer a client-specific questionnaire; based on their answers, we recommend those who should be invited to make a final presentation. The decision who to invite lies with the client.
