Tony Pugh, EMEA Head of DC Solutions

Tony is responsible for developing and managing The Aon MasterTrust and our GPP Solution (BBT). He also heads up Aon’s global DC thought leadership community.

He has over 30 years’ experience advising some of the UKs largest companies and DC plans, as well as multinational companies, on their DC arrangements around the world.

Tony is an innovator and finds creative solutions to employer challenges such as integrating wider financial wellbeing issues into DC pension solutions to assist with engagement and benefit adequacy.

Tony leads the distribution strategy for The Aon Master Trust and Aon’s Delegated DC services. Prior to joining Aon, he held senior roles at Scottish Widows and Friends Life. Tony holds a degree in Economics and Politics and is an Associate of the Chartered Insurance Institute.

Joanna Sharples, Partner

Joanna is responsible for the development and implementation of delegated investment strategies and solutions, including defaults and lifestyle strategies. She is a member of Aon’s UK DC Investment Committee.

Joanna holds a degree in Maths from the University of Durham and is a Fellow of the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries.
