Jennifer Richards

Jennifer is the Chief Executive Officer of Asia Pacific and a member of the Aon Executive Committee. She is responsible for leading Aon’s strategic direction in the region to deliver distinctive value for clients across solution lines.

Jennifer joined Aon in 2011 and served most recently as Chief Executive Officer of Australia where she fostered key client relationships and embedded the firm's 3x3 Plan to accelerate growth and capabilities across Risk Capital and Human Capital. Jennifer’s background in specialist risk encompassing areas such as climate, cyber, D&O and M&A, gives her a unique perspective on emerging risks with a focus on delivering solutions to enable clients to better protect and grow their businesses.

A member of Aon’s Global Inclusive Leadership Council, Jennifer is committed to building and inspiring high-performing teams and creating a culture of inclusivity where all Aon colleagues are empowered to reach their full professional potential.

Prior to joining Aon, she held several senior management roles at AIG in its Financial Institutions and M&A businesses in North America. Before moving into the insurance industry, Jennifer practiced corporate and securities law at Sidley Austin LLP in New York City.

Jennifer holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Toronto, a Bachelor of Laws from Osgoode Hall, York University and a Master of Laws from the University of Cambridge.
