Piotr has broad experience in HR, from the consulting side as well as from the corporate HR side. He has successfully managed HR transformations within his corporate experience as well as led the programme management offices and HR work streams in large scale projects. His specialisations include Organisational Design, HR process management & HR strategy.

Until October 2016 he was responsible for the HR transformation at Merck KGaA in Darmstadt, Germany. In his role as EVP Corporate HR & HR delivery he managed the restructuring of the total global HR organisation, the redesign of all major ongoing HR processes (compensation review, talent management, succession management, performance management, development and learning) and integrated all processes in the cloud, achieving in addition an award winning HR analytics approach. His responsibility included leading the HR workstream in the Merck efficiency programme Fit for 2018, which resulted in higher quality outputs with 30% less resources. He was also accountable for the HR Integration of Sigma Aldrich (St. Louis) into the HR operations of Merck. The speed of integration (process, technology, structure, delivery model) was viewed as an internal benchmark for other Group Functions.

Before joining Merck, in October 2011, he held multiple leadership roles at Hewitt and Aon Hewitt, being located in the USA, in Germany and in his last role in China. Therefore Piotr has experience in working with global clients, including Siemens, SAP, Beiersdorf, Catalent, GE, Huawei, Deutsche Bank, Merck.

Piotr holds an MBA (Specialization in Marketing, OD, IT) and a PHD from the University of Cologne, Germany.

Andrew Stemp is an Associate Partner in Aon’s Strategic Advisory Practice. He is a Compensation, Benefits and Reward professional with over 20 years' international experience in both consulting and corporate environments.

Prior to joining Aon, he was most recently Director of Reward for the EMEA region for online retailer Amazon, based out of Luxembourg and covering all aspects of reward for the organisation across a number of mature and emerging markets in Europe and Africa and for a broad range of employees from blue collar to senior management across Retail, Tech and Operational/Customer Service businesses. He was also a member of the global C&B leadership team at Amazon.

Andrew's career started at KPMG where he specialised in Corporate and later personal tax. He is a member of the UK Chartered Institute of Taxation. Andrew spent six years in HR consulting roles early in his career, based in London and Milan, specialising in executive compensation and wider reward where has was adviser to a number of FTSE 100 and international companies. He was involved in a number of global grading exercises for major clients. His corporate career has included roles as Head of Reward for GE Consumer & Industrial, based out of Barcelona, for BPB across 56 countries and for Alliance Boots.

Andrew has deep specialist knowledge of international M&A and emerging markets.

Andrew has an MA in Modern Languages and Linguistics from Magdalen College, Oxford and speaks 5 European languages.

Igor Velkovsky is a Director in the Aon Strategic Advisory practice in Europe. He is responsible for advising clients on a wide range of M&A human capital issues. His focus is on the consulting global companies in the area of due diligence assignments, post-merger integration, corporate pension, compensation and benefits plans design and implementation.

Igor has over 15 years of consulting and management experience in international HR advisory, especially in HR transformation, mergers & acquisitions, purchase price allocation, corporate pension and total rewards issues.

Examples of relevant experience:

  • As a Project Manager Igor led several post-merger integration projects dealing with ‘do by close’ and longer-term integration issues concerning Human Resource (communication, policy, T&C transformation, compensation and benefits, retention strategy, job architecture) issues.
  • Igor has a wide and extensive experience in vendor broking and implementation of total rewards landscape conclusively long-term working time accounts administration (incl. asset management and CTA set up), insurance coverage and pension administration.
  • As a Program Manager and strategic advisor of CHRO he led the restructuring project for a global technology company (over 1,400 reductions across three countries).
  • He has held different management positions (Head of HR Service Center, Head of Operations, Principal (Site management member), Manager M&A EMEA) at some of the world’s best regarded HR consulting companies such as Deloitte and Mercer.
  • Prior to Aon he was Manager Human Capital M&A EMEA at Deloitte Consulting and supported global clients (including several Dow 30, DAX 30 and NIKKEI 225 companies) during M&A and other HR related projects.

Igor graduated with a PhD in Mathematics (Dr. rer. nat.) from the University of Regensburg, Germany.

Management Consultant and Programme Manager with over 18-years of experience.

Joanna specialises in leading business, culture and HR transformation programs for multinational organizations - representing financial, telecom, pharmaceutical, manufacturing and service sectors in Europe and Middle East.

Often acting as transformation manager, Joanna’s experience and expertise has helped senior managers to integrate all people related aspects of change and align them with their business priorities.

Joanna holds a Master Degree in International Relations and Diplomacy from University of Warsaw. She has also completed doctoral studies in Economics of Labor and Global Senior Leadership Program (Aon).

Lars Osterhues is a Consultant in the Aon Strategic Advisory practice in Europe. With his scientific and interdisciplinary profile, Lars is an expert in the field of change management, strategy, M&A and crisis management. In particular he has advisory experience in topics of mergers & acquisitions, organisation design and transformation, post-merger integration, human capital and cultural change/integration projects.

Prior to Aon, Lars worked for the German Red Cross in a leading position. He took responsibility for organisational Change management, talent management and employee training. Furthermore he provided advisory services as crisis manager for other internal Red Cross institutions.
